Wildland Scotland announces the next chapter in their partnership with renowned Scottish fine art Floristry Studio, Wild Gorse.

A three night, four day, embrace of nature and a rewilding of your inner creative will be hosted by the extraordinary founder of Wild Gorse, Julia Kirk, at one of Wildland’s most sought after properties, Kinloch Lodge. Wildland’s exclusive hire destination, Kinloch Lodge, is located near Tongue in a special and secluded spot beneath the ancient peaks of Ben Loyal. Once the shooting lodge of the Dukes of Sutherland, Kinloch retains much of its vernacular charm, yet has been reimagined to become the most welcoming home for those who don’t wish to be found and are eager for earthy exploration and immersion in nature. Julia and her team of expert practitioners will guide each participant through a thoughtfully curated programme, over a series of considered workshops including botanical dyeing, foraging, floristry, sourdough making, botanical installation art and landscape sculpture all designed to unearth your creativity, leading to a strong bond with yourself, others and the surrounding wilderness.

Guests will, of course, also have the opportunity to experience the best of Kinloch Lodge and the surrounding grounds. Including yoga sessions, forest bathing and sound baths, all under the expert guidance of Wildland’s Wellness expert, Christie Wood. There will also be ample time to explore the estate grounds, go wild swimming, or find warmth and relaxation in the outdoor sauna. Having worked with Wild Gorse since the beginning of Wildland, this partnership is a testament to the longstanding collaborations which are true to Wildland’s ethos and integral to their 200 year vision, their mission to protect and sustainably manage the Scottish wilderness and in doing so both Wildland and Wild Gorse can provide experiences which are restorative, and life affirming to guests whilst offering practitioners an opportunity to showcase their crafts and skills off-season.

Guests participating in the Wildland wellness package are fortunate enough to immerse themselves in the captivating surroundings of Tongue. Situated in the Sutherland region, this coastal village, nestled north of the Ben Hope and Ben Loyal mountains, is a hidden gem in the northernmost reaches of Scotland. Tongue delights in seclusion within a lesser-known segment of the highlands. This area provides a distinct opportunity for solitude and liberation, far removed from the bustling world, all while showcasing breathtaking beauty.
