Daylesford Organic (our favourite place on earth) has just launched their Zero Waste Pantry at their flagship farm shop in The Cotswolds. Replacing single-use packaging with refillable vessels, customers can use their own containers to get their everyday staples such as cereals, nuts, seeds, grains and pulses. Additionally, Daylesford has installed a honey dispensary featuring four organic kinds of honey and an olive oil and vinegar dispensary, allowing customers to fill their own sustainable bottles or jars with these products. Check out their refill station where you can fill your reusable bottle up with water, freshly made juices and even organic kombucha developed by the ferments team.

With nutrition at the heart of Daylesford, a plant-based fridge area has been installed stocking products and foods to aid gut health such as kefir, kimchi and pickles as well as adaptogenic granolas, gluten-free loaves and healthy snacks. Not only is the Zero Waste Pantry reducing the need for packaging, but it also cuts back on food waste, allowing customers to buy the right amount for their needs avoiding wastage. Daylesford’s selection of sustainably made, durable reusable containers includes stylish glass storage jars, metal food caddies, clever coffee cups, sandwich boxes and Clima white water bottles. The Zero Waste Pantry is taking Daylesford one step closer to achieving their goal of using 100% recyclable, reusable or compostable packaging throughout all their farm shops. We love the way this company is moving forward and don’t think it will be long before they can reach their goal!
