There are so many great things that come with autumn (or fall if you’re based in the US!). It might seem a little depressing that we can no longer step out the door without a jacket, wear open-toed shoes or eat punnets of strawberries all day long, but autumn does have some perks too! Aside from the beautiful, golden colours appearing on the trees, an abundance of cashmere and nights in front of the log fire, we really feel food comes into its own this time of the year. Think warm stews, hearty bowls with rich flavours and plenty of herbal teas! Summer’s great but salads can get a bit boring after a while don’t you think? As we commence October, we head straight into apple season! Apples are full of flavour, full of nutrients and full of fibre! It’s no lie that eating foods that are in season always taste better so below we’ve highlighted some of our favourite recipes to inspire you to eat well and in season this month!
