Long gone are the days when a holiday or weekend away meant pushing your health and wellbeing to one side. Once a time for over-indulgence and minimal physical activity, hotels across the globe are now taking notice that their guests may actually want to continue implementing healthy habits, even on holiday. Here in London, it’s The Dorchester who is putting your wellbeing first.

One of London’s most iconic hotels, The Dorchester, have recently made it their mission to embrace the wellness industry and provide a world-class service to their guests who are used to living with their health in the forefront of their minds. From waking up to your favourite green juice delivered to your room to a personalised, goal-orientated fitness regime with their in-house personal trainer, Simon Inman, you’re guaranteed to have a truly nourishing stay from head to toe.

Speaking of body parts! Their spa, which seamlessly tucked away on the lower levels of the hotel, is a place of total serenity and tranquillity. Comprised of nine treatment rooms, including two doubles, a sleek relaxation room, an aromatic steam room, the most divine manicure/pedicure suite AND their Spatisserie, which serves an array of smoothies and juices and wholesome bento boxes to suit different dietary requirements. Choose from Vitality, Balanced, Light and High Protein all filled with nutritious meals designed to work in harmony with your fitness and wellbeing goals.

Their treatment list is extensive and is perfectly designed with restoration and rejuvenation in mind. Using luxurious products from brands like Aromatherapy Associates and La Prairie, their treatments range from aromatherapy massages, deep tissue massages, rose facials, hydrating body cocoons and anti-ageing facials from Carol Joy. They also have a host of pregnancy treatments to suit mothers-to-be! Relax and unwind after your treatment with a coconut water to rehydrate your body and your spa experience is complete.

Wander down the corridor from the sumptuous spa and you’ll stumble across the Fitness Studio where you’ll likely find PT Simon Inman putting his clients to tough work! Having worked in the fitness industry for over 25 years, Simon is incredibly experienced in providing bespoke fitness programs for his clients. After a one-hour consultation, Simon will establish your lifestyle requirements, fitness level and set specific targets to help you on your way to a healthy, fitter body. His five-point body MOT consists of body fat analysis, VO2 max uptake, physiological age report, flexibility test, and posture analysis.  Chiropractic analysis and blood profiling can also be arranged for a more in-depth insight into your current state of wellbeing.

Another perfect touch to your stay and your peaceful night’s sleep lies in your wardrobe and on top of your bedside table. Open your wardrobe and you’ll find a set of gorgeous Silk Pajamas and next to your bed, This Works Deep Sleep Pillow Spray to spritz on your pillow as your turn out the light.

What better way to spend the early New Year than a weekend at this wellbeing sanctuary!?
