ROWBOTS, London’s mindset led fitness studio, is supporting a new charitable initiative with STRONG GENS, an international organisation working to empower children in conflict and crisis, for the charity’s final fundraising event to support refugee children who have fled Afghanistan’s conflict on 31st October. 

Throughout October, Strong Gens are partnering with London-based athletes who will collectively ‘travel’ the 5647km distance from London to Kabul, Afghanistan. The remainder of the distance will be covered in a 6-hour grand finale rowing event hosted at ROWBOTS City on 31st October. ROWBOTS and Strong Gens will be working to raise financial support for the Strong Gens centre in Greece which is currently supporting and housing children, who have fled Afghanistan, seeking sanctuary in Europe. The money raised will provide the children with food, accommodation and education in a safe space, showing them that they are not alone, and that we are all one human family, always stronger together.
