Always hearty, always healthy, she believes in cooking with whole foods. Which is why her partnership with Whole Foods Market couldn’t be a better match! Below she shares her can’t live without food staples and her secret ingredient for a hearty lentil dahl.

My non-negotiable health habit

“Omega 3. I feel miles better when I take it and I don’t each a huge amount of fish so I make sure I supplement it. My favourite is Bare Biology which I get from Whole Foods Market. It’s made using sustainable sources and is super. ”

My de-stress tool

“Transcendental meditation. I did a course early this year and it’s been life-changing.”

My evening ritual

“I love essential oils and will always dab some lavender on my pillow. I try to switch off from about 7 and not look at my phone. Cooking dinner is also a huge part of my way to wind down.”

My favourite way to keep fit

“I love a mix of yoga and hiit classes. I’m obsessed with the fiit app which has fab 25 min classes you can do from home.”

My favourite recipe to cook

“I know it’s summer but I just love a Dahl. I make a simple golden Dahl which is packed with ginger and turmeric and toasted spices. I love it with a spoonful of yoghurt or Yumchi kimchi”

My guilty pleasure

“I love snacking on a good crunchy granola. Sometimes with a little fruit and a good dose of almond butter but often just from the pack! I love Deliciously Ella’s original granola. It has a wonderful cinnamon flavour and is super crunchy.”

My go-to food staples

“Good organic turmeric – I get mine from Whole Foods Market. Red lentils – I always have a jar on my kitchen counter. Miso paste – it adds so much flavour. I use it in everything from stir-fries or roasting veggies to salad dressings. Tea Pigs tea – I’m lost without their Earl Grey and I’ve recently got into their cold brew teas too.”
