I just love Christmas and this year I am so excited to enjoy all the Swedish traditions with my family as we always celebrate on the 24th every year with a huge Smörgåsbord from herring and prawns to meatballs, ham and red cabbage and the biggest table of cheese and puddings. We are celebrating with my husband’s family this year so we are heading to Sussex early to enjoy some pre-Christmas festivities with my little boy Rollo where we will bake gingerbread men and cinnamon buns as well as build a gingerbread house. He might be a little too young to enjoy this as much as we will but it’s something we are all really looking forward to doing together like we did when we were little.
