H&H Creative Designer, Issy, shares what’s on her Christmas wishlist!
Christmas is without a doubt my favourite time of year. When it hits the 1st of December I’m in full-on Elf mode, out doing not only my own Christmas shopping but also my Dad’s, Grandad’s and Boyfriend’s. As much as I enjoy receiving gifts, I also love giving them and I think as I’ve grown older that has become my favourite element of Christmas. This year my wish list is full of items I have been eyeing up for ages! I’ve held off buying bits for myself in the hope that Santa will come down the chimney on the night of the 24th of December. No matter how old I get, I’ll be up at the crack of dawn on Christmas morning, ready to open my stocking!
I recently lost a necklace after a massage (very frustrating) and have been meaning to replace them for a while but have been waiting out until Christmas as I always feel jewellery is something you are gifted as it gives them more sentimental value. You can’t go wrong with Missoma jewellery and this layering duo is top of my wish list!
I’ve been on the hunt for a very simplistic pair of classic white sneakers that have a slightly elevated look and will work well with dresses. I’m obsessed with trainers and will always opt for comfort over anything else so I think these from Axel Arigato tick all the boxes for smart, stylish and functional!
PJ’s have always been one of Santa’s go-to for my Christmas presents since I was little and this jazzy pair from Rixo has caught my eye. Sorry Santa, these are definitely slightly more pricey than the M&S pair you usually went for when I was 5 but they are so cool and I can guarantee you will not see me wearing anything else in between Christmas and New Year!
The White Company
I recently bought a new car and have been eyeing up this White Company Car Scent Diffuser. Putting the usual flimsy bits of scented card to shame, this diffuser will not only smell divine but will look sleek on my dashboard!
My mum received a pair of these Birkkie’s last Christmas and I’ve been lusting over them ever since. They’re the ultimate house shoes, perfect for both indoor and outdoors. The cosy shearling lining is what has sold me on these, they’re just so fluffy!
Years Of Ours
As a self-proclaimed activewear addict, I’ve been dying to try out the American athleisure brand, Years Of Ours. I love the tie-up detail on these leggings and don’t yet own a pair like this so, obvs, I must get some to add to my never-ending collection!
Rhubarb is my favourite smell of all time and no Christmas stocking would be complete without a candle so this year, Boy Smells Rhubard Smoke is what I want my house to be smelling like! These candles are super trendy, I love the packaging and the scents are very potented which is what I look for in a candle!
Tony’s Chocolate is literally to die for… if you know, you know! The vegan Dark Almond Sea Salt edition is by no means healthy but it’s Christmas and I shall be indulging over the holidays, curled up on the sofa accompanied by Elf blaring on the tv, an almond milk Bailey’s and of course my giant bar of chocolate!
A gym bag accompanied by a gym pouch is a must for me. My bag is packed with my change of clothes, toiletries, etc and my pouch has everything I need for the actual gym, phone, keys, headphones, resistance bags, MyZone belt and whatever other fitness bits and bobs I’m using. This quilted style is so pretty and looks perfectly practical to make my life as easy as possible!
I like a gift that I can look forward to and have always wanted to try a FaceGym studio workout! The Signature Scuplt seems like a good place to start, designed to stimulate circulation, improve lymphatic drainage and lift the face.
