The new era of British Food Halls will be welcoming a new tenant to their original concept on January 26th. MOVE, a boutique fitness and wellness studio, will be housed above Market Halls Fulham, in a light and open space. With its own private entrance, this fully equipped gym will host a rotating schedule of classes, as well as workshops and wellness talks providing the neighbourhood, commuters and visitors alike with a stylish haven to train and relax in. MOVE’s core philosophy is all about flexibility, so that means no fixed membership fees or contracts, allowing you to pick and choose from the regular classes and one-off events. The classes will run from early morning through to evening, varying from endurance and HIIT, to yoga and pre/postnatal, Monday to Saturday. Each class can be booked in advance for £18 and for those focused on getting fit this year, you can bulk buy up to 10 classes, bringing a single class cost down to approximately £14. The capacity will vary on the class activity but with smaller targeted groups of 12 to 20 people, this will give you more individual attention from the expert trainers. The MOVE coaching line up boasts an energetic team with strong industry reputations and an existing loyal following, including international model, yoga teacher and wellness blogger Kim Hartwell and former professional dancer.

For those who love to start their Saturday mornings with a class and brunch, “Move & Munch” is just that. A sociable session designed to encourage friends and strangers to exercise, laugh and dine together. Starting on 26th January, classes will run at 9.15am and 10.15am, that will include a 50-minute intense, team-focused workout followed by brunch down in the Market Hall with menus from Press Coffee, Fanny’s, Butchies and Hot Box.

The mission of MOVE is led by former professional rugby player Christian Lewis-Pratt and after retiring in 2016, he now looks to bring more to the health and wellness industry. “We believe in creating a space that delivers beyond measures of sweat and soreness (although you can certainly expect to sweat). But this is not a dark basement studio with overbearing strobes and underwhelming attention from coaches. The fitness industry should be doing more than that. We will do more than that.” MOVE space looks to host wellness events and fitness workshops every Thursday and Friday evening and plans don’t stop there. MOVE is also primed to expand alongside Market Halls
opening of their third location West End, Oxford Circus in spring this year. All passes can be purchased via MOVE website or Mindbody app, there will be no drop-in spaces
allocated.

Corporate wellness initiative passes include lunchtime classes of yoga, strength, endurance and interval training; available from £10 per person with a minimum spend of £100 per class. Fees are payable upfront in blocks of four or more.
