Christmas will feel a little different for me this year, having lost my dad a few months ago. So, family is where it’s at for me (more so than ever) and I’m really looking forward to spending lots of time with them, especially after a very quiet, unsociable Christmas last year. I get pretty excited about the food during the festive season so I’ll absolutely be lapping up mince pies, (my secret is to slice off the lids, add a dollop of stilton, pop the lids back on and warm in the oven!) and, in honour of my dad who loved sharing his Terry’s Chocolate Orange with me every Christmas, I’ll be toasting a segment (or 6) to him.
Veja
You would assume since I work at H&H, I would have a wide selection of gym trainers, but I actually have had the same pair for years and years and I’m desperate for some much cooler kicks now! These VEJAs are the ones for me I think!
Loewe
A few months ago, I started wearing contact lenses after years of glasses and I can’t even tell you how happy it makes me that I can now buy sunglasses, on a whim(!) that don’t need a prescription. I’ve worn the same, boring sunglasses for too long so, although it’s winter, these Loewe cat-eye shades will be firmly on my Christmas wish list!
Loeffler Randall
I honestly love nothing more than a staycation, somewhere with beautiful scenery and I’m always on the lookout for the perfect weekend bag. This floral quilted number is so up my street!
Sarak K
I have been lusting after Sarah K’s Scalloped bedding for a while and I am totally in love with the blue! Good bedding is essential for sleep in my opinion so I always like to invest in high-quality sheets when budget allows.
Amelia Freer
I am a huge fan of Amelia Freer and her ethos for healthy living. I am really hoping for her latest cookbook, Simply Good For You under my tree this year… I just love scrolling through her Instagram and seeing the most sumptuous, colourful recipes she creates and what she’s growing in her walled garden. She’s my go-to for food inspo!
Willow Crossley
I have a real passion for flowers and floristry and I would one day love my own cutting garden where I can grow the most beautiful flowers. For now, I take joy in my potted flowers and visiting lovely flower stalls on the weekend… but my rusty old secateurs need an upgrade! These sunshine yellow ones from Willow Crossley are catching my eye!
English Pear & Freesia Limited Edition
Jo Malone
This is one of my favourite scents of all time and it currently comes in a limited edition fluted glass bottle which would look so so pretty on my dresser. I’ve handily almost run out of my current bottle and you just can’t beat a bit of Jo Malone at Christmas!
Hot Pottery
I’m a bit obsessed with collecting pretty containers and jugs for flower arrangements and I don’t care what anyone says but I NEED this lavender splatterware jug from Hot Pottery. I can just see it sitting on my kitchen table with a gorgeous bunch of sweet peas!
Sleeper
I actually don’t own a pair of slippers… and now it’s winter, I think that needs to change! My last pair were shredded by my pup Rosie who is now fully grown and chews a lot less so these cosy looking slippers from Sleeper will undoubtedly keep my tootsies warm!
François Simon
I love gifting friends and family beautiful coffee table books and I just so happen to love receiving them! Nothing can beat a summer spent in Provence but when the January blues set in, I’ll be flicking through this book to tide me over!
Stone And Strand
I’ve had this dainty necklace from Stone And Strand saved on my Net-A-Porter wishlist for some time and I just love how delicate and minimal it is. I’m not a huge fan of chunky jewellery so this is a bit of me!
