With the weekend coming up (hooray!), it’s always handy to have lots of lovely things to look forward to! From a morning lie in followed by a delicious brunch or lunch, the weekends are all about giving your body a well deserved rest as well as allowing your mind to have a break from work. If you’re ideas are running dry on what to do this weekend then you’ve come to the right place! We have a couple of ideas which will make your weekend all the more enjoyable!

Regent’s street Summer Streets events 10th July
This Sunday, Regent Street looks forward to hosting a day of health and lifestyle activities at their Summer Streets event. Beginning with the sound of the starting gun for the British 10k London Run, Sunday 10th July will see an army of health and wellbeing experts descent on Regent Street for a day fitness, relaxation and fun.

Around 14,000 runners will begin their 10k race on Regent Street, moving towards Piccadilly, before clearing the street by 11.30am in time for the rest of the festivities to begin.

Highlights include showcases from the Harlequins rugby teams, England Hockey team, an inflatable tent for rowing hosted by London sport, boot camps run by Northface fitness instructors, Tommy Hilfiger tennis tables and pop-ups from Fitbit and Third Space. Beauty lovers will enjoy free five-minute skin consultations from Kiehl’s On Wheels, and foodies will love delicious dipped strawberries from the Godiva cart. During the evening, the sensational French Garden Opera will perform their beautiful music in the intimate Heddon Street courtyard. It’s sure to be a fun-packed day!

Rude Health Cafe
Rude Health’s brand new Cafe has just opened its doors! Now, we all know that no weekend is complete without a yummy breakfast out and about, so this weekend, grab your fave breakfast buddies and head down to the New King’s Road to check out this new spot! Inspired by their ‘Eat Right, Stay Brilliant’ mantra, and the research that Nick Barnard conducted for his first cookbook, EAT RIGHT, the team will be serving delicious, ethically-sourced and nutrient-dense foods, from breakfast through to late afternoon. Our particular favourite from their delicious menu is the Lentil Salad with roast aubergine, black lentils, avocado, seeds, and parsley and tahini or their Sprouted Porridge with salted maple syrup, nuts and banana. Yum yum!!

Kobox
It’s simple, there is no better way to de-stress and perk yourself up on the weekends than with a kick-ass exercise class! Kobox, Chelsea, is perfect for working off any weekend indulgences. The body sculpting classes will get your heart rate up whilst taking you a step closer to achieving a toned and sculpted body. One of our fave Kobox instructors, Toby (@thuntingtonwhiteley), is taking Sunday’s 3:30 & 4:45pm classes. He may look like a gentleman, but his classes are killer!

Lululemon – Hyde Park Yoga
Every Saturday this month, Lululemon will be offering free yoga classes in Hyde Park from 10:00am-11:00am lead by one of their London store ambassadors. If you fancy off-loading some of your stresses and strains then head down to the park Dorchester Ride and Lover’s walk to start the weekend off right!

CleanCult Ethos, Spitafields – 10th July
This Sunday CleanCult will be hosting an indulgent and sumptuous beauty event! Clean Cult London will be hosted by Call It Vanity, one of the UK’s leading natural and organic beauty blogs, and Clean Beauty Co, an exciting new brand and champions of DIY beauty! This Sunday Mayah & Sabrina of Call It Vanity will be celebrating the launch of their new beauty detox consultation service, whilst Elsie & Dominika of Clean Beauty Co will be giving guests live demos of their increasingly popular London based DIY beauty workshops.
