In need of a dose of post-holiday fitspiration? To coincide with the launch of Glow Guides, we caught up with Madeleine to find out what to expect from the MOVE section of her much-anticipated app, her weekly exercise regime and her top tips for reclaiming our fitness levels after the silly season.

What is your personal MOVE philosophy?

I like doing exercise that feels good, builds my booty, makes me sweaty, but doesn’t stress me out. I love mixing it up with a bit of cardio and yoga. I love how yoga makes me feel – calmer, stronger and more flexible.

What are your top tips for reclaiming our fitness levels after the festive season?

Schedule it in. Make an appointment with yourself to exercise, don’t put it off. Do it before work and then you can relax for the rest of the day.

How do you stay motivated to MOVE?

I know how good it feels when I exercise. I have better energy, sounder sleep and I feel stronger. That is enough motivation for me!

Fill us in on your weekly exercise regime…

I follow the Glow Guides workouts alternating between the cardio blast classes led by Shona Vertue and then other days I do vinyasa flow yoga. It’s a great, healthy balance.

What can we expect from the MOVE section of Glow Guides?

Exercise that feels fun and effortless! Plus your butt to become juicy, your middle section to become history and your stretch and agility to soar.

The Glow Guides App, Madeleine Shaw’s transformational programme, is out in January. Available in iOS and android (£49.99).
