Wellness Workshop: How To Make Seasonal Shrubs & Drinking Vinegars

Harness the power of shrubs for overall wellness with our resident nutritionist and wellness expert Rhaya Jordan who will demonstrate how to make delicious seasonal shrubs. Originally created as a way to preserve and enjoy ripe fruit, raw shrubs are simple to make and guests will be educated on the benefits of shrubs as a digestive tonic, benefiting hydration and nutrient intake whilst alleviating food waste.
Held at the BROMPTON CROSS farmshop, the workshop will touch on the importance of gut health for our wellbeing as well as an in-depth look at the tradition of shrub making. Rhaya will share her deliciously nourishing shrub recipes and tips for fermenting, giving guests the chance to make their own shrubs to take home.
About Rhaya Jordan
Daylesford resident nutritionist Rhaya is a qualified naturopath, nutritionist and herbalist, and has been practising for 30 years. With a special interest in diet, nutrition and sustainable food, she has worked as both a teacher and leader of eating disorder clinics to help people normalise their relationship with food.
