For World Earth Day on 22nd April, London Terrarium has teamed up with Bottled Baking Co to create a free workshop to encourage sustainability through the creation of self-sustaining plant homes from empty glass containers.

With glass being one of the most challenging substances for landfill, sharing solutions on how to recycle and repurpose glass bottles can have a huge impact on the planet. Recognising this, pre-measure baking mix company, Bottled Baking Co and London Terrarium will be co-hosting a webinar, along with jam brand, Fearne and Rosie to show attendees how to create a new home for their plants using an empty bottle or jar, such as those used by the brands themselves, and some other bits and pieces found lying around at home.

The workshop is set to take place on World Earth Day on Thursday 22nd April 2021 via a livestream on social media, which people can sign up for here. Whilst the workshop does not require purchase, utilising the correct tools can help, and the brands will distribute a foraging list beforehand for people to scavenge and use to create their terrarium.

As an extra incentive, all those sign up before 20th April will be able to opt in to the prize draw to win one of five terrarium kits, including all the tools needed to create the terrarium with ease, such as long tweezers, a bottled baking co mix, and a jar of Fearne and Rosie jam.
