Nutrition for growing kids: The ABC’s of healthy eating for ages 2-11 years old
June 17 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
As a busy Mum to two young children and a Registered Nutritional Therapist, Jessica has a background in children’s nutrition (mBANT, rCNHC, PGDip, NTPD, NLP, and CPD: ION) and knows first-hand the challenges that can arise around childhood nutrition and would love to work with you on some content. She can provide insightful, practical advice tailored to the needs of young, growing bodies.
Her approach centres around the key pillars of health for children, with a focus on:
- Key Vitamins and Minerals that are essential for growth and development, ensuring children receive the nutrients they need.
- Family Implementation – Practical strategies for incorporating nutritional recommendations into everyday family life.
- Balanced Meals and Snacks – Guidance on creating meals and snacks that support energy levels and concentration, particularly important for school performance.
- Supplementation Needs – insight into whether children need supplements and how to choose them.
- Immune System Support – tips for boosting children’s immune health through diet.
In addition to her expert knowledge, Jessica has a whole host of resources with recommendations and recipes that she can provide and runs children’s nutrition workshops for parents (details of which can be found below and attached).
The event is accessible in person and online.
