And the effects are having a dangerous ripple effect. How can a world thrive when the majority of us are suffering – overstressed, overworked and disconnected? We’ve depleted our energy, our creativity and our passion. We’ve lost sight of our purpose, and our minds and bodies are paying the price. Our societies are paying the price. Our planet is paying the price. As with all Kaylo programs, the Recover From Burnout & Global Stress virtual retreat weaves together modern science and ancient wisdom, addressing the root causes of burnout and chronic stress dis-ease in a series of sessions led by renowned doctors and practitioners.
Agenda for the Event:
14:00-14:30: Opening Community Circle w/ Kaylo & Alex Hanly
Trained extensively in Yoga Therapy, non-violent communication and Movement Medicine®, Alex Hanley will welcome you to start your journey, helping you ground in your body and set an intention for the day.
14:30 – 15:30: The Science of Stress & Burnout (including Q&A) w/ Dr. Kirsten Smith ND
Join Dr. Kirsten Smith ND, a naturopathic doctor, to learn about the physiological effects of stress and how they can quickly spiral into burnout and then illness. You’ll learn practical steps to recover from burnout and avoid future episodes.
15:45 – 16:30: Embodied Movement & Yoga Nidra w/ Alex Hanly
Alex will help you relax and prepare for a session of yoga nidra to release tension and stress from your body and mind.
16:40 – 17:40: From Burnout to Breakthrough with Human Design w/ Uossy
You’ve likely been hearing a lot about Human Design these days, and with good reason. Experience first-hand this fun and practical tool for self-discovery, which brings together a multitude of ancient wisdom for some real ‘a-ha’ insights into your true self. In this insightful session led by Uossy, you’ll use Human Design to access the mechanics of your unique body to identify the signs of burnout and learn how to alchemise these moments into strength.
