Festival of Joy | A Virtual Festival From Gazelli House

August 8, 2020 @ 11:00 am - 6:30 pm

The Festival of Joy is just one part of celebrating the reopening of Gazelli House this month. While they warmly welcome you to visit us in person, they know that each and every one of you will do so when it feels best for you as an individual, so Gazelli House wanted to do something together right now. Join them as they call out to gather in the spirit of joy, and for an important cause, too*. Gazelli House have curated a day that’s full of incredibly generous practitioners leading expert webinars, guiding you through breathing and movement classes, or bringing up your energy for a full blown dance party.

*Tickets to the festival are free of charge, though donations are welcome to their partner charity: the Wellbeing of Women. WoW are the only UK charity raising funds to support crucial research into matters of Womens’ Health from gynaecological cancers, to menopause, miscarriage and more, which is why we wholeheartedly support them, and hope you will too. To make a donation, please follow this link and contribute what feels affordable for you: https://www.wellbeingofwomen.org.uk/donate/

Festival of Joy Agenda

11am – 11:45am: Breathing to Open the Heart, with Isaac Vidjrakou @metholistic

Join Isaac in a practical session on how to open your heart centre with the power of the breath. Please come to the session dressed comfortably, with something cushioned to sit on on the floor, and with an open mind. These exercises will gently get us ready for the festival and are an excellent toolkit to adopt every day to centre the self.

12pm – 12:45pm Everyday Ayurveda for Greater Wellbeing: A Seminar, with Anita Kaushal @maulirituals

Our deeply knowledgeable friend and collaborator, Anita (founder of Mauli Rituals), will guide us through simple daily morning, afternoon and evening Ayurvedic rituals that you can adopt every day, as well as touching on affirmations and marma points as a means to achieving greater wellbeing. Please come prepared with a pen and paper to take notes.

1:15pm: Breathe Love Sound Meditation, with Jasmin Harsono @emeraldandtiger

Get yourself settled and ready to listen to elevated sonic sounds and intuitive soulful vocals. Any blockages or tension may start to disperse, enabling the mind, body and soul to flow; lifting the heart and nourishing every cell of the being.

2pm – 2:45pm: Supercharge Qigong, with Arron in association with Hayo’u @arron_qigong @thehayoumethod

Utilise the mind, body and breath with Arron to supercharge your energy with slow, meditative movements that promote power, circulation and nourishment of the body. Please dress comfortably, with floor space to follow the class.

3pm – 3:45pm: Magic Spells for feeling, dealing and hopefully healing, with Semra @mamamoon

Join the magical Semra as she guides you through rituals and spells to make the most of the moon’s state, and how to cultivate your own light, darkness and intentions throughout the passing phases in their, and our, natural ebb and flow.

4pm – 4:45pm: Gentle, compassionate movement, with Nahid @thehumanmethoduk

Nahid will guide us through intelligent movements for physical and emotional agility – encouraging compassion for ourselves and for others – led from the heart, and felt throughout the body, mind and spirit. Please dress comfortably to move around in, with enough floor space to follow the class. Please have 4 x cushions at the ready.

5pm – 5:45pm Qoya Dance, with @katetaylorcreativeliving

Please dress comfortably, with floor space to follow the class.
