Earlier this week we sat down with Madeleine to chat about her MOVE philosophy; what motivates her to get her sweat on and her exercise regime, today we’re super excited to share with you Madeleine’s MUNCH philosophy, her typical day on a plate and top tips for eating out! Read on for the lowdown…

What is your personal MUNCH philosophy?

Eat good whole foods; nothing processed, packaged or refined; eat good quality protein from grass fed meat, fish, quinoa and legumes; eat nourishing carbohydrates like sweet potato, brown rice and chickpeas. Fill your plate with all the colourful veggies out there and never be afraid of fats – good fats such as olive oil, coconut oil, avocado and nuts are your friends.

Enlighten us on what is a typical day on your plate?

Breakfast is usually scrambled eggs on rye bread maybe with some ago. Lunch might be some leftovers from dinner – salmon with sweet potato wedges. Dinner is something warming like a chickpea curry.

What are your top tips for eating out?

Eat clean – fish of the day, steak and salad or a nice seasonal soup. Go to French, Asian,  Italian, brasserie and pub cuisines, making Indian and Chinese a special occasion.

What is your favorite pre MOVE snack?

I love a green juice pre workout!
